Guadeloupe is one of France's five overseas departments, along with Martinique (also in the Caribbean), French Guiana, Réunion and Mayotte (the last two are both in the Indian Ocean).

St. Kitts and Nevis is the smallest sovereign state in the Western Hemisphere, in both area and population. It's a member of the Commonwealth of Nations.
